It quickly turned out that not only the English and Dutch enjoyed darts, but also the Münsterers and Westphalia. It went much faster than expected for the actual snap idea and the focus also changed.

Withdrawal also took this direction and culminated in the fact that billiard halls in Berlin and Leipzig were equipped with up to 80 billiard tables shortly after the fall of the 1990s.

The shop grew, there was a branch in Munich and everything could have gone on like this. Because that would have been too boring.

The product range was expanded to include the next major component, Boule & Petanque. For all ages, always in the fresh air and a glass of wine and cosiness should not be missing here. There was also rapid sales and the development of the largest boules shop in Münster.

The Internet - uncharted territory? The next step was almost inevitable.

The idea came to us over a delicious coffee on the canal. You only need a PC and you're ready to go, right? So we could always work nicely from here in the café. An internet shop was created quickly and so it could start.

The expectations were high, the results rather modest at the beginning. It was not uncommon in the evening to ask how many orders we had. Not infrequently there was the answer, there was more going on in the shop. A small competition developed between the two companies, once a shop, once an internet shop.

Often enough at the beginning with the better end for the retail store, which of course frustrated us a little. We had to learn that a shop and an online store are two very different pairs of shoes and that an apprenticeship is also required here.

This did not take three years, like a "normal" apprenticeship, but we got the hang of it very quickly. To our own surprise, Internet trade grew so rapidly and with such growth rates that we had to pinch ourselves several times. But curse and blessing are always related. Unfortunately we hardly visit the café on the canal anymore.

We never wanted to stand still. Sometimes we had to brake rather not to take too big steps too early. Because of these internal corrections, there were no negative surprises, but healthy, steady growth. In the meantime (November 2018) the move to a larger warehouse with connected office space has taken place.

The small teething problems that always arise with a move and new challenges are resolved and we are happy to have taken this step, but also proud to have done it. For the next few years, we are very well positioned in terms of infrastructure and can now devote ourselves exclusively to what we love to do and what we can do very well: find beautiful new items for our shop and our many existing customers, but also a lot of new ones Offering a great offer to customers, but of course we don't yet know how the development will continue. But we still have enough ideas and the steps will certainly not get any smaller.
